Here's a link back to an <a href="http://grandtextauto.org/archives/000035.html">exchange we had last year with Harold Cohen</a>, whose AI system <i>AARON</i>, developed over decades, creates paintings on-screen, some of which get drawn on paper or painted onto canvas. I'm not sure about the exact mechanism for how they get onto paper / canvas — here's a <a href="http://www.kurzweilcyberart.com/aaron/hi_essays.html">photo of a plotter</a>... For this art festival, I wonder if "printing" a picture qualifies as robot art... But these days term "robot" <a href="http://grandtextauto.org/archives/000249.html#981">seems to extend</a> to software-only bots too...
