Sigh. Besides being flattered by the <i>NYT</i> article, I like that it managed to get beyond the AP article in a few ways and express some of what is going on in game studies, not just that it is becoming an academic field. It's also a help to me, going into the conference, to learn about the organizers and the context a bit. It was definitely a good press day for me.
